Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be warmly received by a Trek Africa Expeditions representative who will assist with your hotel transfer. After settling in, enjoy a relaxed afternoon visit to the Giraffe Centre for up-close encounters with the endangered Rothschild giraffes.

Day 2: Nairobi to Lake Naivasha (Approx. 2 hrs drive)

After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, enjoy a boat ride across the lake, surrounded by birdlife and grazing hippos. Optional visit to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary offers a unique walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park (Approx. 2 hrs)

Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, home to thousands of flamingos and a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos. Expect sightings of buffalo, zebras, giraffes, and, with luck, the elusive leopard. Enjoy game drives with panoramic views of the Rift Valley.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara (Approx. 5+ hrs)

Head to the iconic Masai Mara Game Reserve, the northern extension of the Serengeti ecosystem. This is Big Five country—lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo—and also the site of the famed Great Migration.

After lunch at your camp, embark on an afternoon game drive before returning for dinner and storytelling around the campfire.

Day 5: Full-Day Safari in Masai Mara

Optional: Hot Air Balloon Safari at dawn (USD 450/person) with champagne breakfast in the bush.

Day 7–8: Wildlife Encounters in Serengeti National Park
