Day 0: Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania

Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be met by your guide from Trek Africa Expeditions and transferred to your hotel in Arusha for a briefing about your upcoming safari. Take this time to relax and get ready for the adventure ahead.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Land of Elephants & Baobabs

After breakfast, your safari begins with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast herds of elephants, iconic baobab trees, and impressive diversity of wildlife. Keep your camera ready as you explore the savannah in search of lions, giraffes, buffalo, ostriches, and more.

After the game drive, continue to Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park – Into the Wild Plains

Once in the Serengeti, marvel at the vast golden plains dotted with acacia trees and teeming with animals. Enjoy a picnic lunch on a scenic kopje (rocky outcrop) before heading deeper into the park for an afternoon game drive.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater – Sunrise Safari & Big Cat Tracking

Wake early for a sunrise game drive in central Serengeti, one of the best times to spot predators on the move. Your guide will track wildlife activity, following prints and calls to find lions, leopards, and possibly cheetahs.

Later, you’ll leave the Serengeti and head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in time for dinner and overnight rest near the crater rim.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha – Explore the World’s Largest Intact Caldera
