- Chimpanzee tracking in Uganda has an age limit of twelve (12) years old. Make sure to inquire about the age limit before booking your chimpanzee permits.
- Chimpanzee tracking activities are conducted in two shifts each day, with morning and afternoon tracking sessions available in all chimpanzee tracking destinations.
Kibale Forest National Park is home to approximately 1500 chimpanzee individuals who form small parties during the day to reduce competition for food. In the evening, they reunite to build nests for overnight stays. For chimpanzee tracking excursions, groups are limited to a maximum of six people, accompanied by an armed ranger guide.
