In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve. As the sun starts to dip, the golden light casts magical hues over the grasslands, and wildlife begins to stir. You’ll track large herds of wildebeest and zebras, often seen moving in unison during the migration. If lucky, you’ll witness a dramatic river crossing at the Mara or Talek River, where crocodiles lie in wait and predators like lions and hyenas close in.
Enjoy lunch in the heart of the reserve, listening to the distant calls of birds and the rumble of hooves. Spend the afternoon exploring different sectors of the park, known for their diverse wildlife—from the Big Five to rare species like serval cats and bat-eared foxes.
