Day 1: Nairobi to Aberdares National Park – Afternoon Game Drive
After breakfast, your adventure begins with a scenic drive north from Nairobi to Aberdares National Park. Along the way, enjoy views of Kenya’s rolling hills, rural villages, and majestic landscapes. Upon arrival at Sweetwaters Tented Camp, check in and settle into your luxury tent, offering views of the Mount Kenya peaks and surrounding plains.
The afternoon is reserved for a game drive through the Sweetwaters Game Reserve, where you’ll have the chance to spot wildlife like giraffes, buffaloes, lions, and rhinos. The park also boasts a rich birdlife, with over 300 species to discover.
Later, visit the Chimps Orphanage located within the reserve. This is a unique chance to observe rescued chimpanzees in a protected environment. Afterward, return to the camp for dinner and enjoy a relaxing evening under the stars.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive in Aberdares and Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park for an Afternoon Game Drive
After breakfast, embark on an early morning en-route game drive before heading south toward Lake Nakuru National Park. Stop for lunch in Nairobi and then continue the journey to the park.
Lake Nakuru is famous for its diverse wildlife and vibrant birdlife, including the famous flamingos that gather in large numbers around the lake. Here, you can see lions, rhinos (both white and black), waterbucks, and leopards. The park is also home to the Rothschild’s giraffe, a subspecies that is found only in Kenya.
Arrive in the afternoon for a game drive, and enjoy the tranquil beauty of Lake Nakuru and its surrounding wildlife. After the drive, head back to your lodge for a restful evening and dinner.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive in Lake Nakuru and Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve for an Evening Game Drive
After breakfast, enjoy a brief morning game drive as you begin your journey to Masai Mara National Reserve—a place often referred to as the “greatest wildlife spectacle on Earth.”
You’ll pass through Narok, the heart of Maasai territory, before arriving at your Masai Mara camp in time for lunch. After settling in, head out for your first afternoon game drive in the park. The Masai Mara is famous for its Big 5, and you’ll have the chance to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards as you explore the expansive savannahs.
End your day with campfire cocktails and dinner at your lodge, soaking in the African evening sky.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Viewing in Masai Mara National Reserve
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the vast and rich Masai Mara. After breakfast, head out for a full day of game viewing. Your guide will take you to the Mara River, famous for the dramatic wildebeest migration and thrilling river crossings where crocodiles wait for their prey. Witnessing this spectacle, if timed right, is an unforgettable experience.
The Masai Mara is also home to cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and many other species. Enjoy lunch in the park, followed by another game drive in the afternoon. If you’re interested in learning more about the Masai culture, you can visit a local Masai village (optional activity, at an extra cost).
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Day 5: Morning Game Viewing in Masai Mara & Return to Nairobi
On your final morning, embark on a last game drive to catch any last sightings of the Big 5 or other animals you may have missed. Afterward, enjoy breakfast at the lodge, then begin your drive back to Nairobi.
As you leave Masai Mara, you’ll drive through the Great Rift Valley once more, crossing the eastern escarpment and passing scenic views along the way. Arriving in Nairobi, you’ll have time for a quick stop to do some last-minute shopping before being dropped off at your hotel or directly at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your return flight home.
