Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
Your Kenya camping safari begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel by your professional guide. Depart the city and head southwest, passing through the scenic Great Rift Valley where you’ll stop at a viewpoint for panoramic photos. Continue through the Maasai town of Narok, where you’ll enjoy a local-style lunch and a cultural glimpse into Maasai life.
In the afternoon, arrive at your camp in Masai Mara and settle in. After a short rest, head out for your first thrilling game drive in this wildlife-rich reserve. Expect to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly lions or cheetahs as the sun sets over the savannah.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Masai Mara – Big Cats & Migration Views
After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive with packed lunch. You’ll explore the vast plains of Masai Mara, one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife areas. This is prime Big Five territory, with frequent sightings of lions, elephants, buffalo, and sometimes leopards or rhinos.
During the Great Wildebeest Migration (typically July to October), you may witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River—a dramatic and unforgettable natural spectacle. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, where crocodiles and hippos bask in the sun. Return to camp in the late afternoon for a hearty dinner and evening around the campfire.

Arrive at your lodge or campsite near the park in the afternoon. If time allows, you can take a short walk along the park’s perimeter or relax with views of the Rift Valley escarpment.

The park is also home to a large population of endangered white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, zebras, baboons, and waterbucks.
After a scenic picnic lunch or meal at the lodge, exit the park and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Along the way, enjoy views of Lake Naivasha and possible optional stops like the Nairobi Giraffe Centre or Kazuri Beads Women’s Factory.
