Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and Transfer to Arusha for Overnight Stay
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, your friendly driver-guide will meet you and take you to Arusha Town, a 1-hour drive away, for a restful overnight stay. Enjoy a delicious dinner before settling in for the night.

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park for Game Viewing
After a hearty breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. The park is renowned for its large herds of elephants, with more than 2,500 elephants roaming freely across its vast plains. Tarangire is also famous for its majestic baobab trees, which dot the landscape, and the Tarangire River, which is a crucial water source for the wildlife in the region.
Upon arrival, you will check in to your lodge, have some time to relax, and then embark on an exciting morning and afternoon game drive. Explore the park’s diverse ecosystems, from open grasslands to swampy areas, and observe the fascinating wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and various bird species.

Day 3: Full Day Safari in Tarangire National Park
Wake up early for your first full day of game drives in Tarangire National Park. This park is a hidden gem for birdwatchers, home to more than 500 bird species. You’ll venture through varied terrains, from the open plains to dense woodlands, observing wildlife such as elephants, lions, and various herbivores.
You will visit some of the park’s most famous features, including the Baobab trees, which are not only iconic but also provide shelter for various species. A picnic lunch will be served in the park, allowing you to relax while enjoying the sounds of nature. Spend the afternoon exploring other areas of Tarangire, including the swampy regions, where you might encounter large herds of buffalo or even elusive predators like cheetahs.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for Game Drives

As you enter the park, you’ll also encounter large flocks of flamingos around the lake, as well as other wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests.

Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti National Park’s Central Region for a Game Drive

It’s an intense and thrilling experience, especially during the dry season when the migration is most active.
The Mara River is also an excellent place for birdwatching and observing predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Your guide will help you track the movement of the herds, ensuring you don’t miss any of the action.
