Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing, drive towards Serengeti National Park via the scenic landscapes of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you descend into the heart of the Serengeti, you’ll start to see the open savannah stretching endlessly in every direction.
You’ll arrive in the Seronera area, known for its rich concentration of wildlife and the seasonal presence of the Great Migration. After lunch at your lodge or camp, head out for an afternoon game drive. Look out for elephants, hippos, baboons, and the first sightings of lions or leopards resting near the Mara River.

Day 2: Full Game Drives in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, head out for a full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park. These plains are home to an incredible variety of animals—from large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and buffaloes to predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas.
Depending on the season, you may witness part of the Great Migration—an awe-inspiring sight as thousands of animals move across the landscape. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 500 species to spot.
Break for lunch either as a picnic or back at the lodge, and then enjoy a relaxed afternoon, either continuing your wildlife viewing or simply soaking in the views of the endless savannah.

Day 3: Optional Balloon Safari and Return to Arusha
Start your final day with an optional sunrise hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti (pre-booking required). It’s a peaceful and breathtaking way to experience the landscape from above, spotting animals as the sun rises over the plains.
After the balloon ride (or after breakfast if you choose not to fly), return to the lodge, check out, and begin your drive back to Arusha. You’ll arrive in the late afternoon or early evening, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport in time for your onward flight.
