Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport & Transfer to Arusha
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, your friendly driver-guide will meet you and take you to Arusha Town, a 1-hour drive away, for a restful overnight stay. Enjoy a delicious dinner before settling in for the night.

Day 2: Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for Game Drives
After breakfast, your safari adventure truly begins as you’re picked up from Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park, known for its impressive elephant populations and stunning landscapes. The drive takes around 3 hours, and upon arrival, you’ll embark on a full day of game drives, exploring the park’s expansive savannahs, Baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts a wealth of wildlife.
In addition to elephants, you may spot giraffes, zebras, and lions as you explore the park’s diverse ecosystems. After a rewarding day of wildlife viewing, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive in Tarangire National Park and Later Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for an Even Game Drive
Start your day with an early morning game drive in Tarangire National Park, before heading towards Lake Manyara National Park. Famous for its stunning scenery and unique wildlife, including tree-climbing lions, this park offers a blend of forest, woodland, and grassland. Lake Manyara is home to large flocks of flamingos and various water birds, and you’ll have the opportunity to see elephants bathing in the lake’s waters.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Drives in Central Serengeti and Transfer to Northern Serengeti

Day 6: Full-Day Game Drives in North Serengeti, Including Mara River Area
Your adventure continues with a full day of game drives in the Mara River Area of the Northern Serengeti. Here, the migration is in full swing, and you’ll have the chance to witness massive herds of wildebeests and zebras as they make their way through the Mara River, an awe-inspiring spectacle of nature.
Your game drives will be guided by your expert driver-guide, who will ensure you have the best opportunities to observe wildlife in the area. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, with the sounds of the Serengeti in the background.

Day 7: Game Drives in North Serengeti and Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
After breakfast, embark on a sunrise game drive in the North Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Crater Rim, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most unique wildlife destinations on the planet. On your way, you’ll visit the Retima Hippo Pool, where you can observe hippos and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Alternatively, you can visit the Olduvai Gorge, known as the “Cradle of Mankind,” where some of the world’s oldest hominid fossils have been discovered.
If you prefer a cultural experience, visit a Masai Village and learn about the traditions of this nomadic group, famous for their colorful clothing and captivating dances. As you reach the Ngorongoro Crater Rim, you’ll settle in for dinner and an overnight stay, enjoying panoramic views of the crater below.

Day 8: Visit Ngorongoro Crater for Game Viewing and Return to Arusha for Departure
On your final day, wake up early to descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The crater, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” is home to over 25,000 animals, including herds of wildebeests, zebras, and buffalo, as well as the elusive black rhino. You’ll also visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake known for its flamingos and hippos.
After a memorable game drive and picnic lunch, you’ll ascend from the crater and head back to Arusha. Depending on your flight time, you can either stay overnight or be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey.
