Trek Africa Expeditions specializes in organizing Gorilla trekking tours for both group and solo travelers. We have extensive knowledge of Mountain Gorilla tracking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Volcanoes National Park in Eastern Africa. However, this information will specifically focus on Gorilla trekking for solo travelers. While many travelers prefer group tours to reduce costs and socialize, it can be difficult to find a group safari that aligns with an individual’s interests, schedule, and budget. Trek Africa Expeditions offers Gorilla trekking safaris for single travelers to visit the Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda and Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda.
Mountain Gorilla tracking safaris for solo travelers can be costly due to the additional expenses of not having someone to share costs with. Trek Africa Expeditions understands this and aims to reduce the overall cost for solo travelers to make the experience affordable. We have established relationships with lodges in and around Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, which allows us to secure the best rates for solo travelers with meals included as per your itinerary. Additionally, while solo travelers may have to pay a single room supplement and other costs alone, we strive to minimize these expenses.
The guides at Trek Africa Expeditions are highly experienced in leading both group and solo travelers. They have received training in all aspects of handling different types of travelers, including males and females. If you’re interested in a private Gorilla tracking safari, please kindly send us an email and we’ll organize one for you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Mgahinga Gorilla National Parks in Uganda and Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. With our guidance, you’ll be able to share your experience with others. For more information on Gorilla tracking safaris for solo travelers, pricing, permit availability, and booking, please contact Trek Africa Expeditions, and our team will be happy to assist you.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and Volcanoes National Park are open for gorilla trekking throughout the year, but the best time to visit is between June to August and December to February. During these months, the forest trails are less slippery due to lower rainfall, increasing your chances of a dry gorilla viewing experience. Additionally, this allows for better photography and overall improved experience.
At Trek Africa Expeditions, we offer a diverse team of guides in Uganda, including both male and female guides. As a solo traveler, you have the option to request a specific guide before your departure for the gorilla tour to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and Volcanoes National Park, and we will make every effort to accommodate your preference.
