In addition to gorilla trekking, our upcoming Christmas packages will also include wildlife safari experiences in other popular national parks such as Queen Elizabeth National Park and Lake Mburo National Park. Visitors have the option to participate in traditional gorilla trekking, which lasts for one hour, or the gorilla habituation experience, which allows for four hours of viewing gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The gorilla habituation experience is a great option for travelers who have limited time but want to spend more time with these magnificent mountain gorillas.

The Gorilla habituation experience is an exclusive and unique opportunity to spend an extended period of time with a group of mountain gorillas as they are being trained to become accustomed to human presence. This experience takes place in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in the southern part of the Rushaga Sector. This permit costs USD1500 per trek per person and allows for a 4 hours experience with gorillas. It is considered a more in-depth and intimate experience compared to traditional gorilla trekking. To fully immerse in this experience, it is recommended to spend at least 2 hours staying at Bwindi or Mgahinga National Park, located in Western Uganda. This will give you enough time to explore the national park, learn more about the gorillas and their habitat, and get the most out of your gorilla habituation experience.

This park offers a wide variety of activities that will allow you to see the diverse wildlife that calls this park home. One of the main highlights of this park is the opportunity to view the tree-climbing lions and enjoy the boat cruise safaris at the famous Kazinga Channel. The park is known for having one of the best game drives in the country, where you will have the chance to see a variety of animals such as hippos, leopards, herds of elephants, and of course, the tree-climbing lions. These animals can be spotted during game drives in both the northern part of Mweya or the southern part of the park, known as the Ishasha sector.

The boat cruise at the Kazinga channel is another must-see activity in the park. The cruise will take you through the channel and you will be able to spot a wide variety of animal and bird species. The boat cruise lasts for two hours and can also be done during your game drive safaris. The combination of these activities will give you a complete and comprehensive experience of the park and its wildlife.
