Detailed Itinerary for 7-Day Uganda Gorilla, Tree Climbing Lions & Chimpanzee Safari
Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe International Airport
Experience a warm welcome to the “Pearl of Africa” as our guide picks you up upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport. Transfer to the lodge for relaxation, and if time allows, indulge in shopping and currency exchange.
Day 2 – Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, transfer to Entebbe Airport for a domestic flight to Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip, depending on your gorilla trekking location. Upon arrival, our guide will transport you to the lodge for relaxation. Optional activities, such as community walks or Batwa pygmy walks, may be available.
Day 3 – Gorilla Trekking Experience
Embark on an extraordinary gorilla trekking experience after an early morning breakfast. Attend a briefing at the park headquarters and venture into the forest with a ranger guide. Spend a captivating hour with the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
Day 4 – Drive to Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park
After a leisurely breakfast, drive to the south of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a short game drive en route to the lodge, followed by an evening game drive in the park.
Day 5 – Drive to Kibale Forest National Park
Commence the day with an early morning game drive and proceed to the northern part of the park for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Later, drive to Kibale Forest National Park, arriving in time for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 – Chimpanzee Trekking Experience
Embark on an adventure in Kibale Forest National Park with a morning chimpanzee trekking experience. Attend a briefing at the park headquarters before trekking to encounter these playful primates. Return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.
Day 7 – Drive Back to Entebbe
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before beginning the journey back to Entebbe for your outbound flight. Depending on your schedule, our guide will transfer you to the airport or your final destination.
