Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe:
Upon your arrival in Entebbe, our representative from Trek Africa Expeditions warmly welcomes you, facilitating a smooth transfer to The Boma Entebbe or a similar accommodation for relaxation. Time permitting, explore the town for essential shopping items before the safari commences.

Day 2 – Drive to Kibale Forest National Park:
Following a morning breakfast, embark on a southward journey to Fort Portal en route to Kibale Forest National Park. Known as the primate capital of world, Kibale is home to an astounding 13 primate species. Upon arrival, check-in and prepare for the next day’s chimpanzee trekking experience.

Day 3 – Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Primate Walk:
After breakfast, venture into Kibale Forest for an exhilarating chimpanzee trekking experience. The forest comes alive with the sounds and activities of these social primates. Later, visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for an afternoon primate walk, encountering red colobus monkeys, l’hoest monkeys, and black and white monkeys.

Day 4 – Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park:
Indulge in a leisurely breakfast before driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a captivating boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This prominent water source offers a dramatic display of wildlife. Conclude the day with a short game drive en route to Enganzi Lodge or a similar accommodation.

Day 5 – Drive to Ishasha for Tree-Climbing Lions:
After breakfast, journey to Ishasha, the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its tree-climbing lions and abundant hyenas. An evening game drive and sundowner reveal the captivating wildlife in this region.

Day 6 – Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park:
Embark on an early morning game drive in Ishasha, searching for tree-climbing lions, and return to the lodge for breakfast. Later, enjoy a mid-morning game drive before departing for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 7 – First Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi:
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking briefing. The trek, ranging from 2-7 hours, culminates in a captivating hour with the mountain gorillas. Return to the lodge for relaxation and relishing the day’s remarkable encounter.

Day 8 – Optional Second Gorilla Trek or Forest Walks in Bwindi:
The day offers the flexibility of either a second gorilla trek or an enchanting forest walk. Opt for a 3-hour waterfall walk or visit a different gorilla family, tailoring your experience to your preferences.

Day 9 – Flight from Kihihi to Entebbe and International Connection:
After breakfast, transfer to Kihihi airstrip for a scheduled flight to Entebbe. Connect with your onward international flight. For those spending an additional night, arrangements can be made with Trek Africa Expeditions at an extra cost.
