Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Pick up from a Hotel in Kigali and Transfer to Bwindi Forest

Begin your expedition with a morning breakfast at your hotel in Kigali. Our experienced guide will then pick you up for a brief city tour in Kigali before heading to the border for customs clearance. Following this, venture towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a mere 5-hour drive from the Rwandan capital, Kigali. This proximity provides a distinct advantage compared to the longer drives from Kampala or Entebbe, making southwestern Uganda an ideal location for gorilla trekking.

Day 2 – Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi

After a delicious morning breakfast, our guide will escort you to the park office for a comprehensive gorilla briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Rangers. Subsequently, you will be divided into gorilla family units. Accompanied by your guide and porters, embark on an exhilarating trek through the lush forest, lasting between 2 to 8 hours, depending on the chosen gorilla family.
