Tree Lodge – 2-Day Safari:

In the vicinity of Nyeri, approximately 160 kilometers north of Nairobi, there are three noteworthy “Tree Lodges”: Treetops, The Ark, and Mountain Lodge on the slopes of Mount Kenya.

Day One – Nairobi City to Tree Lodge:

The journey begins with a scenic drive through Thika, known for its pineapple plantations. Crossing the Tana River, the landscape becomes more vibrant as you ascend into the fertile farmlands of the Kikuyu people. A stop at the Outspan Hotel in Nyeri town provides lunch for visitors heading to Tree Tops, Mountain Lodge, or Aberdare’s Country Club for those visiting The Ark. In the afternoon, proceed to your chosen Tree Lodge for an enchanting night where wild animals gather at the floodlit waterhole. Elephants, rhinos, buffalos, giant forest hogs, and more are frequently observed. Overnight at The Ark / Treetops Tree Lodge.

Day Two – Tree Lodge to Nairobi City:

After a delightful breakfast, descend back to your base hotel and journey back to Nairobi city in the afternoon. Conclude your safari with a drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
