Lasting up to three hours, this immersive trek presents opportunities to encounter remarkable bird species such as Papyrus Gonolek, White-Winged Warbler, Shining Blue Kingfisher, White-Spotted Flufftail, Great Blue Turaco, White-Tailed Ant-Thrush, Yellow-Billed Barbet, Uganda Spotted Woodpecker (Speckled Breasted Woodpecker), and the Joyful Green Bull.
Visitors are guided by trained sanctuary guides, ensuring an informative and secure exploration. The sanctuary office operates daily from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with recommended walk times between 7:30-9 AM or 3 PM. However, flexibility allows visitors to indulge in the walk at their preferred hours.
