Budget East Africa’s Uganda Gorilla Tracking and Kenya Masai Mara Safari – Itinerary

Day 1-2: Arrival in Entebbe – Explore Lake Victoria

Upon landing at Entebbe International Airport, a brief 15-minute drive takes you to Airport Link, where our representative provides an itinerary briefing. The adventure begins with a 7 am boat ride on Lake Victoria to Mabamba Swamp, offering a chance to spot the elusive shoebill stork. Interact with local fishermen and enjoy an evening at leisure and overnight.

Day 3-5: Gorilla Tracking and Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, embark on an 8-9 hour scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Check-in at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge for two nights. Experience gorilla tracking in Bwindi Forest National Park, followed by an evening interaction with the local Batwa community. On the third day, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a breathtaking stay, including a leisure cruise to explore the punishment island. Enjoy the sunset along the lake shores.

Day 6-7: Lake Bunyonyi to Nairobi

Meet your guide and transfer back to Entebbe for an overnight stay at Airport Link Guest House. The following day, fly to Nairobi, where you’ll check-in at Comfort Hotel Nairobi. Visit the Giraffe Manor and return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 8-11: Discover the Wonders of Masai Mara, Kenya

Over the next two days, take full-day game drives, exploring the wildlife-rich plains of Masai Mara. If traveling between July and October, witness the incredible wildebeest migration. On the 11th day, drive back to Nairobi for your outbound flight after bidding farewell to the lodge.
