What’s Included in the Gorilla Permit?

Nkuringo Gorilla Permits ensure visitors have the opportunity to trek and observe mountain Gorillas for one hour. Additionally, the Gorilla permit covers the park entry fees for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park on the specified day, eliminating the need for additional fees for Gorilla tracking entry. Separate fees are applicable for activities other than Gorilla tracking.

The Gorilla permit fee also encompasses the ranger or guide’s fee, essential for accompanying visitors through the forest during Gorilla tracking. While tipping guides and rangers is optional, it is appreciated.

Security during the forest trek is provided by armed Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers and tourism police, ensuring a safe experience.
