Day Two: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your lodge before heading to the park offices for a briefing on Gorilla tracking guidelines. Ensure you are appropriately dressed for the adventure with long-sleeved shirt/t-shirt, trousers, socks, and hiking boots. The briefing begins at 7:00 am, assigning you to one of the habituated Gorilla families. Embark on a 2-6 hour trek with a park ranger guide, trackers, and porters, depending on hiking speed, gorilla location, and habitat. Spend a precious hour with the gorillas, capturing photos and observing their behavior. Return to the lodge for rest, and in the evening, visit the Batwa community for a cultural experience. Later, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.
