Buhoma Lodge is also accessible by air, with daily flights departing from Entebbe Airport and Kajansi Airfield to Kihihi Airstrip. From Kihihi airstrip, it is approximately a one-hour drive to reach Buhoma Lodge by road. There are three daily flights from Entebbe Airport to Kihihi, departing at 7am, 10:15am, and 12:00pm. The flight time is 1 hour and 45 minutes, and once you arrive at Kihihi airstrip, you will be transferred to Buhoma Lodge. The one-way flight fare to Kihihi is USD 283, while a return flight costs USD 472.

Personal filming and photography of mountain gorillas during the trek is allowed at no extra charge. You can use your personal video, digital, or SLR cameras to capture the breathtaking moments while on your trek.
