Walking Safaris

Lake Mburo National Park welcomes all visitors to explore its wonders through guided nature walking safaris. Accompanied by an armed park ranger guide, these walks, starting from Rwonyo, the park center, lead you to the salt lick, one of the park’s prime spots for observing diverse wildlife.

Safari Game Drives

Lake Mburo boasts an impressive array of wildlife, with 68 mammal species and 350 bird species concentrated within its boundaries. Witness the growing giraffe family and thriving hippo population, and you might be pleasantly surprised by the abundance of wildlife in this compact park. Don’t miss the optional boat ride, a fantastic opportunity to spot crocodiles and indulge in prime birdwatching from the water. Please note that while we do not have a safari vehicle onsite, we can assist you in arranging transportation if you don’t have your own vehicle; this is subject to availability.

Night Game Drives

For tourists interested in a fishing safari, bringing your own equipment and obtaining access permits from Uganda Wildlife Authority is a must.
