The Nkuringo Gorilla fly-in safaris commence with a transfer to Entebbe International Airport, where you’ll board a local flight to Kisoro Airstrip in southern Uganda. During this short flight, you’ll witness Uganda’s diverse landscapes from a unique vantage point. The following morning, after breakfast, the Gorilla Tracking Adventure unfolds with a briefing at the trailhead, the park headquarters. At 8:00 am, the Gorilla tracking adventure begins, preceded by a detailed briefing on Gorilla etiquette. The actual tracking starts either by walking from the briefing point or being driven to the closest starting point, depending on the Gorilla family being tracked. Once the Gorillas are found, you’ll be granted one hour in their presence.
