In our pursuit of the ultimate fishing experience, we deploy speedboats ranging from 18 to 30 feet, powered by twin outboard engines. These vessels, equipped with ample seating, can accommodate up to four anglers at a time. Additionally, we offer 24-foot fiberglass “canoes” propelled by outboard engines, catering to smaller groups of 2-3 fishermen, making them ideal for day trips.

Safety is paramount in our fishing safaris. All our boats are fitted with overhead sun canopies to shield you from the elements. Rain suits are on hand, as the lake’s turbulence may create a certain level of spray. Moreover, we provide mobile phones, life jackets, basic first aid kits, and fire extinguishers, all geared towards ensuring your well-being. To keep you refreshed throughout your expedition, our cooler box is stocked with cold drinks and snacks. We also provide all the necessary equipment and lures for trolling perch, with up to four lines per boat. However, if you prefer, you’re welcome to bring your own gear. Any damaged or lost equipment will be charged accordingly, with lures priced at approximately 20-25 USD each.

Our Uganda Fishing Safaris typically set sail around 9:00 AM or 1:00 PM and return around 12:30 PM or 5:00 PM. Full-day excursions span approximately 8 hours, while half-day adventures offer around 4 hours of fishing bliss. The fishing grounds encompass local islands on Lake Victoria, accessible by a scenic 45-minute boat trip from Entebbe. Alternatively, our fishing safaris also extend to the majestic Murchison Falls National Park. The specific areas fished depend on weather conditions and fish activity. In times of rough waters, our focus shifts to sheltered bays, while the tranquil River Nile offers a calm fishing experience. A delightful picnic lunch is provided, complete with a cooler box filled with beers, mineral water, sodas, tea, and coffee. Feel free to bring along any additional beverages you desire.

To make the most of your fishing adventure, we recommend sun protection essentials such as hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen, as the daytime temperatures can rise into the mid to late 20 degrees Celsius. Sturdy sandals are advisable, as you may encounter wet conditions while embarking and disembarking from the boat. Insect repellent is a must, and for capturing memories, a camera to document your fishing triumphs. For those intrigued by birdlife, a pair of binoculars can be quite rewarding. While comfortable day wear is suitable, it’s wise to carry a rain jacket for unpredictable weather and a sweater or light jacket for cooler evenings.
