The drive from Kisoro to a nearby lodge in Rushaga is about 2 hours. Passengers should check in 90 minutes before their scheduled departure time, and note that the baggage allowance is 15 kilograms per person. Excess baggage is charged at $3 per kilogram. Private charters are also available for those with different timing requirements and routing needs. If you’re traveling with infants below 2 years old, they can travel for free, while children above 12 years old are carried at 70% of the adult fare.
