For enthusiasts, there’s an option to pre-purchase an additional Gorilla permit for a second visit on Day 3, altering the itinerary.

Day 4 involves a long travel day back to Kampala. This unique Uganda Gorilla Short Break provides a slightly different experience from group tours, with a local guide offering a level of independence during downtime.

Important Notes:

• Minimum age for Mountain Gorilla trekking is 15 years.
• A deposit is required to secure your Gorilla permit in advance, along with a scanned copy of your passport at the time of booking.
• The trip begins with a welcome meeting at the start point hotel at 9 am. Departure follows shortly after the meeting.
• Plan your departure flight for Day 4 after 9 pm to accommodate any delays.

Essential Trip Information: Physical Rating:

Participants need to be fit for a trek of up to 7 hours in hot and humid conditions, navigating hills and potentially slippery terrain. Carrying personal necessities, including water, a rain jacket, and camera equipment, is expected during the trek.
