The encounter with Mountain Gorillas promises to be a heart-capturing experience, making the Ugandan adventure truly unforgettable.
Trekking to find the Mountain Gorillas can be a challenging yet rewarding experience. Be prepared for a long hike, and remember that you’ll spend only one hour with the Mountain Gorillas. For enthusiasts, there’s an option to pre-purchase an additional Gorilla permit for a second visit on Day 3, altering the itinerary.
Day 4 involves a long travel day back to Kampala. This unique Uganda Gorilla Short Break provides a slightly different experience from group tours, with a local guide offering a level of independence during downtime.
Participants need to be fit for a trek of up to 7 hours in hot and humid conditions, navigating hills and potentially slippery terrain. Carrying personal necessities, including water, a rain jacket, and camera equipment, is expected during the trek.
For those with pre-booked transfers, drivers will be at the arrivals section with your name and the Trek Africa Expeditions logo. In case of delays beyond an hour, communication is crucial to keep the driver informed.
While we strive for the best travel experience, unforeseen issues may arise. Promptly discuss any problems with the group leader or driver guide to address them immediately.
