Day 1: Transfer from Kampala/Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport or from your hotel in Kampala, your driver-guide will pick you up and embark on a scenic 8-9 hour drive south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the way, you will stop to visit the famous Equator line and enjoy a light lunch. After arriving in Bwindi, check into your lodge, enjoy dinner, and relax before your gorilla trekking adventure begins the next day.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Community Walk in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After a hearty breakfast, you’ll make your way to the park headquarters for a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority guides. You will be assigned to a gorilla family, and the trek will begin as your guides lead you into the thick forest. The trek can be physically demanding, but the reward is immense as you come face to face with the awe-inspiring Mountain Gorillas. You’ll have one hour with these magnificent creatures, during which you can observe their behaviors and take photos. After the trek, you’ll return to the lodge for a well-deserved rest.
Later in the afternoon, join a community walk to interact with the local Batwa people, learning about their culture and heritage.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Evening Game Drive
Following breakfast, you will travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most popular and diverse conservation areas. You’ll arrive in the afternoon, check into your lodge, and then head out for a brief evening game drive, where you may spot buffalo, antelope, or even lions.
