To reach Mount Nyiragongo, you will typically fly into Kigali International Airport. From Kigali, you can travel to Gisenyi, a town near the Rwanda-Congo border. After crossing into Goma, DR Congo, you will drive approximately 2 hours to the park headquarters. Alternatively, you can fly into Kinshasa and then drive to the park. Ensure that all your equipment is cleared for entry, as security is a priority.

What Is the Best Time to Hike Mount Nyiragongo Volcano in Congo?
